THE NEED IN THE COMMUNITY:
In the 10 counties the SE Ohio Foodbank & Kitchen serves, 17.4% of the population faces food insecurity, compared to 13.5% nationwide. The rate for children is staggering at 21.8%, more than 1 in 5.

BOUNTY ON THE BRICKS IMPACT:
The first Bounty on the Bricks event was held in 2013. Since then, funds raised through the event have provided the equivalent of more than 1.1 million meals for food-insecure individuals in the community.
Each ticket to the event provides an equivalent of 125 meals. This helps a family of four family access more than a week’s worth of nutritious meals!
The 2024 event raised $108,957 to help end hunger.
Every dollar goes directly to the SE Ohio Foodbank and its member food pantries across a 4,606-square-mile service area. Funds raised through this year’s event will provide the equivalent of 184,137 meals!
